Imagine the Scene.

A picnic under the stars, family and friends bedecked in 1920s attire, tables set for an elegant affair, all in the name of goodwill for our community.

“Dinner with Friends” was the Community Medical Clinic’s fundraiser for the last four years that was started by David Stinson. It involved friends of the clinic hosting dinner parties, inviting their friends and asking their friends to make a donation to the clinic at the event. “Dinner with Friends” has changed to a themed version, bringing the entire community together. This year’s theme is “Let’s Party Like Gatsby at Dinner with friends.”

“Let’s Party like Gatsby at Dinner with Friends” is a surprise picnic party and everyone must wear 1920s attire, bring their own table décor and picnic.

The 2019 event will take place on Sunday, May 5 at 5:00pm. One of the joys of the event is the mystery of the location, not to be revealed until 4:00pm by text.

The evening will be filled with music, friends and festive decorations.  The table decorations will most definitely be one of the highlights of the evening as well as the sea of 1920s attire worn by everyone.

Guests can purchase an exclusive table or simply RSVP as an individual or group.  The exclusive tables include a catered meal, but you are still encouraged to compete in the tabletop decorating contest!  All other guests, RSVP and arrive with picnics in hand.

We look forward to seeing you on May 5! Please check out the FAQs for additional information or contact Jamie Mothkovich at 803-226-0631 or at dinnerwithfriendsaiken@gmail.com with questions.
